Shipping Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
YIDI Apparel supports global shipping for custom apparel samples and bulk production orders. This Shipping Policy explains the general shipping methods, delivery process, buyer responsibilities, and important notes for international apparel manufacturing orders.
Shipping Scope
We ship samples, prototypes, trims, labels, packaging samples, and finished bulk apparel orders to buyers in North America, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Asia, and other international markets. Shipping options depend on destination, order volume, garment weight, carton size, delivery timeline, and the buyer’s preferred trade terms.
Sample Shipping
Samples are usually shipped by express courier such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT, or other available carriers. Express shipping is commonly used for prototypes, fit samples, pre-production samples, fabric swatches, label samples, and urgent small parcels. Courier delivery time varies by destination and customs clearance speed.
Bulk Order Shipping
Bulk apparel orders can be shipped by express, air freight, sea freight, truck, rail, or combined logistics depending on the destination and order requirements. For larger orders, sea freight or air freight may be more suitable than courier delivery. We can help buyers compare practical shipping options based on timeline and cost.
Trade Terms
YIDI Apparel can discuss shipping arrangements under common terms such as EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP, DDP, or other agreed terms. The final trade term should be confirmed before production or shipment because it affects freight cost, customs responsibility, import duties, taxes, delivery handling, and risk transfer.
Shipping Cost
Shipping cost is calculated based on destination, carton dimensions, gross weight, chargeable weight, shipping method, fuel surcharge, customs requirements, and carrier rate changes. Freight quotations may be adjusted if carton quantity, packaging method, delivery address, or carrier rates change before shipment.
Production and Delivery Timeline
Shipping time is separate from sample development time and bulk production time. Estimated delivery dates depend on fabric availability, production schedule, quality checking, packing, pickup time, carrier transit time, customs clearance, holidays, and local delivery conditions. We will provide practical timeline guidance based on the order stage.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
International shipments may be subject to customs inspection, import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and local compliance requirements. Unless the agreed trade term states otherwise, buyers are responsible for import duties, taxes, customs clearance, and local charges in the destination country.
Shipping Documents
Depending on the order and shipping method, YIDI Apparel can help prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, carton information, product descriptions, and other basic shipping documents. If special documents, certificates, or market-specific compliance files are required, buyers should confirm these needs before production.
Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments
Once goods are handed to a carrier or freight forwarder, shipping delays may occur due to customs, weather, holidays, carrier congestion, inspection, incorrect address information, or destination handling. If a shipment is lost or damaged in transit, YIDI Apparel will help communicate with the carrier or forwarder, but liability depends on the agreed shipping terms and carrier policies.
